       Affected by the financial crisis, in the second half of 2008, almost the whole EMM industry lost. In 2009, because the country has adopted a series of policies, the country’s economic situation has been improved significantly. But the EMM industry development in 2009 has no significant improvements. Preliminary data show that in 2009, EMM industry operating rate dropped again in the fourth quarter below 85%, and about 70% enterprises were still at a loss. EMM export decreased sharply, and 2009 export volume was only 47% of the 2008.
       How does EMM industry deal with it? What is the real situation of EMM industry? What will be the new acts of industrial policies and environmental policies? What are the promotion and breakthrough of new technologies? How does the market price mechanism improve to safeguard the fundamental interests of the enterprises? What are the progresses of foreign EMM production status? These are hot and difficult problems which we will crack passive and achieve development.
       So under the guide of the National Committee of Manganese Industry Technology and the National Friendship Association of Electrolytic Manganese Metal, and the support of IMnI and National Friendship Association of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide, Shanghai Huacheng will continue to host “The International Forum on Electrolytic Mn Products 2010”, and invite well-known industry experts and guests to discuss the way of EMM sustainable development.

       In order to achieve the fundamental improvement of EMM industry growth mode in 2010, and achieve sustainable development of EMM industry, the conference this time initiatives: Promote Technological Innovation, and Improve Chinese EMM Industry Sustainable Development
(1)Speed up innovation and application of new technology, reducing production costs, meeting environmental requirements, and achieve intensive and sustainable production methods.
(2)Speed up the construction of industry information service platform, and make good monitoring analysis, market risk warning, information dissemination of supply and demand, etc. for industry, to achieve the orderly development.
(3)Accelerate the promotion of electronic trading platform applications, reducing transaction costs, expanding trade channels, avoiding market risk, to achieve long-term spot trading and traditional spot trading of linkage development at electronic trading platform.

In 2010, EMM price will increase.

He pointed out that in the reverberatory furnace, calcining, microwave ovens, batch method reduction, shaft furnace, open hearth, fluidized bed reactor, reduction leaching and etc., various links of  manganese oxide ore reduction process, the technical data and features of equipments, to make the contribution of promoting manganese oxide reduction technology application.

Focus on showing the world manganese ore, manganese alloy output, production layout, import and export, Chinese ports’ inventory and other key data. Chinese manganese ore import demand are greater than ever.

In 2009, Chinese EMD production was continued to be overcapacity, but with the rapid development of electric vehicles, lithium ion battery industry opened up new market for EMD.

Explain the distribution, mainly mining, manganese ore characteristics, major enterprises and export facilities of South Africa manganese ore in detail, and describe that South Africa is full of opportunities and challenges of manganese resources.

2009 stainless steel crude steel output has surpassed 10 million tons; Cr-Mn series stainless steel output was more than 300 series stainless steel ratio. Chrome manganese stainless steel relatively fits for Chinese cheap economic conditions at the present stage, and there are still a lot of space for its applications and consumptions.

In the current industry conditions, establish market information collection and analysis system, and application of the hedging electronic trading platform is the most effective risk control strategy.

Chinese crude steel output in 2009 was 567,842,400 tons, increasing by 13.5%. Domestic apparent consumption of crude steel in 2009 increased by fully 100 million tons, and it has never been in Chinese history. The major steel industry demands in 2010 are expected to increase, and the total steel demands may be more than 600 million tons.
